Back to 'business as usual', with the 'jams', after holding the comp in April!! Another great turnout and rightly so- it's not everyday skaters get to see a premiere of a local skate crew's video on a huge screen before they rip up a decent street course, among 200 fellow lunatics!!!!!!!!!! You'd think you were dreaming if you did'nt know it was real...but this is STOKE!!!!!!!!!

The ILL MINDS vid, 'Kids', was well good and it looked amazin' on the big screen. Great to see a good turn out supporting the vid and cheering all the way through it!! We'll do another when Jed finishes his Poorly Brains vid!! Any other crew's out there doing a decent vid- let me know and we'll support it!

After the premiere, the carnage kicked in!! Again, the skating was top drawer. Some of the younger sprogs are coming on so much, it's quite scary!!

The best trick hour, on the rail/driveway this jam, saw some wicked stuff. Ritchie trying, and so nearly having, kickflip frontside boards. G nailed a switch f/s board and nollie krooks. Dale was ripping the driveway up , big time, backside 50.50's, pop shuv to flat, nollie lip and going for cab krooks down the rail and almost nailing a few!! Get it next time??!! Jed nailed a smooth f/s nosegrind down the rail and a nollie lip. Brad was landing some insane stuff too- f/s noseblunt, cab tailblunt and a nollie 180 to switch salad grind!!! Mark nailed a switch salad grind on the rail to get the runners up prize of a a set of wheels but it was Phil who got the first prize of a Black Label deck (both courtesy of Drew at Dazed- cheers as usual!!) with an array of mesmerizing stuff!! Check this- switch heelflip, switch frontside heelflip, nollie flip and a b/s nollie heelflip, all to flat off the driveway!! Take your pick which won the 'best trick'!!

Some great raffle prizes were given away (thanks to Rich/Simple skateboards for the deck and to Preece for the ILL MINDS vids!!) and the usual chaotic sticker toss was mental!!
