Yeah, yeah , I know we failed again!!!!! The "Poorly Brains" video premiere was going well this time! We got hold of a projector (at the last minute!) and all the gear but the head honchos at Dimensions were being well strict about health and safety (due to them having a fire there earlier in the week caused by an electrical appliance!) and told us we couldn't use the DVD player because it hadn't been tested!!! So, end of premiere! We are really going to get it sorted for next time?? |

| Apart from that, the jam went really well- loads of top skating, great to see plenty of young 'uns coming up and improving all the time (makes me sick- I'm still at the same level I was two or three years ago!!), good to see the crew from Stockport again and a special guest appearance from Death's Danny Callow!! He came up with Reese from Derby and they had a thrash around and ripped it up but a screwed up knee saw Danny retire a bit early! Hopefully we will see him again soon. His short skate session saw him ollieing the whole of the block driveway to flat, as soon as he got in there!! Some warm up!!! |  |

No 'best trick' comp this time as we needed to save a bit of proddy for the next jam which will be on Sunday 28th November and we wanted that jam to be a good 'un as it will be the last one of the year and a 'propa chrimbo' jam!!!! So, tell all to get their asses there and make it a good turn out! However, it's something about skaters and video camera's that tend to bring the best out in 'em!!??!! I started to do a bit of filming, to get some pics and clips to put on this page and some wicked stuff went down!! At the kicker to bench some nice tricks were being nailed. Ash Stanton landed a sweet b/s tailslide on it! The driveway, as usual, took a battering! Young Ben Ledwich landed a super fast kickflip to b/s boardslide. Ash Stanton bagged a b/s tail on the rail, a super fast 5.0 and nailed a feeble grind along the top and down the rail!! A pro in the making- no doubt!! |
Good to see Kev Purcell back in the thick of it- super fast kickflip f/s boards down the rail! Poorly Brains' Chris landed a well nice kickflip b/s boardslide. No surprises that Chalky and Phil Williams 'stole the show' with some classic skating! Chalky bagged an inside heel lipslide and a f/s blunt shuv out!! Phil treated us to krooks on the top of the rail and popped over, an amazing krooked grind the whole rail and switch kickflips and heelflips off the driveway to flat!! |
