Stoked Skate Jam- Sunday 23rd January 2005 @ Dimensions, Burslem, S-O-T.

What can I say...........the last jam at Dimensions!! We've had a good run, about 18months of carnage and awesome skating. Bringing the scene together and doing what we love doing!

I dare say when you lot are as old as me, you may look back and reflect on how good these do's actually were!!!

Anyway, enough of this dwelling on the past!!

A good turn out as usual saw some amazing stuff. Pity we are ending now because we are getting some real good lads coming down from Stafford, Derby and the like, making the day even more entertaining! I'm sure we will be seeing as much of 'em when the 'STOKEPLAZA' is built- hope so?!

Fakie 360 flip.

No 'best trick' this jam, as I thought, let everyone just go for it and have a good skate with no interuptions. That meant there was more proddy to give away in the raffle- which resulted in the usual riot! I swear these jam raffles have give a few 13year olds a dicky ticker, they look like they could pass out!!

Highlights of the day were some bloke landing a huge kickflip to flat off the kickers, a varial flip and some kind of backside 360 tailgrab combo!! (Sorry mate did'nt get your name!)

Si Davies landed a frontside 360 nosegrab on the kickers. Chalky was having switch frontside flips on 'em and check out Brad's one footed ollie!

Big ol' boneless transfer.
CarlD- varial flip.
Mar Kendrick- fakie treflip.
Nollie hardflip revert.
Nice pop shuv.
Si Davies- frontside 360 nosegrab!
Huge varial flip over the kickers to flat.
Some kind of b/s 360 tailgrab!!! Was well good whatever it was??!!!

So, thats your lot for STOKED at Dimensions. We will return, I hope, for the winter, then Stoke will have it all! The Plaza and the Skatepaths, a few decent skateparks scattered around the city. Good to be a Stokie!!

I would like to thank the following people/companies etc for their help and support over the last couple of years-
