After the success of the 'Skater Of The Plaza' competition earlier in the summer and seeing as 'Go Skateboarding Day' fell on a Sunday this year, we simply had to do 'a bit of something'!

So, seeing as the hysteria that naturally happened around The Battle Of The Berrics, we thought we would hold our own little version.

All entrants were randomly placed in heats and then whittled down to rounds, quarter, semi and final!

Some great skating went down and it went on so long we had to shorten the final stages to a game of SK8 not SKATE!!

The early heats saw some epic battles, resulting Tom Hughes, Bri Gallon, Matty Hammond and Si Toft ending up in the semi-finals.

The latter two were the finalists and Si Toft was the overall winner bagging himself a nifty Nixon watch, while the other three got to win a new deck each! (Courtesy of Dazed Skateshop -cheers Drew!)
