22/03/05. Building work on the the 'banks' spot- the actual tiled floor going in. Also shown is the first stages of the 6-set ledge being formed.

24/03/05. More building work on the the 'banks' spot- the tiled floor almost finished. Also shown is the rendering of the 6-set. Handrail needs sorting, kink will be cut off and hopefully get it turned around to create a flat bar?!

27/03/05. The tiles are almost finished at the 'banks' and the 6-set almost complete too. Should be skateable in a couple of weeks.

Also some shots of the 'steps' spot where early ground work can be seen where the 3 & 4-sets will go.

01/04/05. The tiled floor is now finished on the bottom tier of the 'banks' spot and the 6-set is now done (except for the rail adjustments- which is in hand!). The banks are ready for the final layer of smooth concrete!!

Also shown is the early stages of the double-set at the 'steps' spot.

07/04/05. The run-up/paved area at the 6-set is now completed- just a few finishing touches and it will all be ready to skate (handrail still to be altered)!

The banks are being finished/surfaced- please let 'em dry completely before sessioning them as they can't be repaired if they get wrecked!!

Also, the 'steps' spot is coming on very well. Double-set is nearly there (again, the handrail is to be re-done here too) and work has started on the 3 & 4-sets.

Check out the flat rails too. Benches to be added here as well!

12/04/05. These pics show the 'banks' spot now all finished, the banks have been surfaced and the paved areas all skateable- go session people!! There will be some nice granite benches to be added to both levels of this spot too.

Also, good progress on the double set and the 3 & 4 sets are looking good as well. By the end of this week, things should be all done and well skateable!

We still have to amend the rails, but that is in hand and also the paving at the landing area, at the bottom of each set of steps is to be concreted instead. This will make the area more sturdy and provide a better smoother landing.

13/04/05. Took these pics in the evening, so a bit dark!

Here you can see where the concrete landing areas are going to be, at the bottom of the steps. Will be loads better and will stand more punishment and time.

20/04/05. All ready to skate!! Still got to get the handrails lowered and kinks out, on the 6-set and the double-set. Will be done next week. The concrete areas at the bottom of all the steps is in and will be loads better. Benches now in place and all we need is some good weather!

04/05/05. The amended rails on the double-set and the 6-set are now in place. Loads better now- no kink on the 6 and lower to skate and the double has less kinks and is lower too. Enjoy!!
